Pan's Labyrinth by Guillermo del Toro, a superbly orchestrated combination of real and fantastical phenomena that weaves a dark thread of contingencies into an epic, enduring fabric exhibiting an irreplicable design that depicts a state where two completely different species of incidents not just co-exist, but also provide a well-synchronised, mercilessly raw hue, which envelopes the often undetectable innocence in its true colour, keeping the viewer motionless, and frankly curious and absorbed as though gauging into a masterpiece hanged on an ancient, historic stone wall that exposes itself more and more and more and more . . . if given the effort of appreciation. Watching such a film was inexplicably an experience of a lifetime for me.
